Our dog walking bags are handmade with love in Nashville, Tennessee using woven recycled polyester. Each yard recycles about 10 plastic bottles and saves about one pound of carbon emissions, compared to standard nylon or polyester bag fabric. It also features zippers made from recycled materials such as PET bottles. Every purchase helps support a local business and the refugees and artisans at The Sewing Training Academy.

Sizing

One size fits most. The strap is 1.5 inches wide and extends from 29 to 48 inches. The leash is 3/4 inches wide. When used as a hands-free leash, the leash extends from 50 inches to 72 inches (4-6 ft). When used as a normal leash with loop or tether, the leash extends from 40 inches to 60 inches (3-5 ft).

Safety Information

  • It is the owner’s responsibility to determine if the hands-free leash can be used effectively and safely. If your dog is reactive or a heavy puller, this may pose a safety risk for the owner and the animal. Please use your best judgment when using the kit.
  • Do not leave your dog unattended while using the leash as a tether. This product is intended for supervised, temporary tethering only. 
  • Never tether near or around obstacles in which your pet can become entangled. It is the pet owner’s responsibility to ensure the product does not become tangled or wrapped around your pet
  • Not all dogs can be tethered effectively and safely. Please use your best judgment when deciding to use the leash as a tether.
